Giving is an expression of worship and gratitude for all that God has done.
Whether you’re giving for the first time or continuing a pattern of faithful generosity, we are truly thankful for your partnership in the mission God has given us. Every gift, big or small, makes a lasting impact. Here are some easy ways to support our church.

Giving is Worship
Everything we have comes from God. When we give, we acknowledge that He is the owner and we are simply faithful stewards of what He has entrusted to us. Giving is more than supporting the ministry of the church; it is an act of worship that expresses our trust in God, our gratitude for His provision, and our love for Him.
The Bible reminds us:
"Honor the Lord with your wealth and with the best part of everything you produce. Then he will fill your barns with grain, and your vats will overflow with good wine."
Proverbs 3:9–10 (NLT)
We never give to manipulate God or earn His favor. We give because He has already been generous to us. Yet throughout Scripture, God promises to bless those who faithfully honor Him with what He has entrusted to them.
One of the clearest examples of this promise is found in Malachi:
"Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do," says the Lord of Heaven's Armies, "I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won't have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test!"

God's blessings are not always financial, nor should financial gain ever become our motivation for giving. His blessings often come through His faithful provision, deeper peace, healthier relationships, greater contentment, spiritual growth, renewed purpose, or increased opportunities to make an eternal difference. As we trust Him with what He has given us, He shapes our hearts, strengthens our faith, and blesses us in ways that draw us closer to Him. When we place our finances in God's hands, He is able to do far more with them than we could ever accomplish on our own.

Giving is never about obligation or pressure. It is a joyful response to God's generosity toward us. As we grow in generosity, God uses our gifts to advance His kingdom while also shaping our hearts to become more like His. Our generosity blesses others, and God, in His faithfulness, blesses us as we continue to trust Him.
Our Commitment to Stewardship and Accountability
We understand that giving is an act of trust, and we take that responsibility seriously. Through regular audits, multiple layers of accountability, and rigorous policies and procedures, First Wesleyan seeks to create an environment where financial misuse is not possible. Our denominational structure provides additional oversight and guidance, helping ensure that resources are stewarded wisely and with integrity.
At the same time, we believe that while we are called to be faithful stewards, God is the one who brings the increase. We prayerfully invest every gift with the expectation that He will work in ways beyond what we could accomplish on our own. You can give with confidence, knowing that your generosity is handled with care, integrity, and a deep commitment to honoring God.
