When soldiers arrived to arrest Jesus in the garden, Peter drew his sword and struck the high priest's servant—convinced he was defending his Lord. Jesus stopped him instantly: "Put your sword back into its sheath." Peter was willing to fight. He'd just chosen the wrong battle.

This message offers three questions to ask before you draw your sword: Is this battle mine to fight? Am I fighting for God's mission or my own ego? Will winning this battle help me win the person?

Not every wrong needs a response. Not every disagreement needs to divide a friendship, family, or church. Sometimes refusing to fight takes more strength than fighting back.
