Safety Code of Conduct
We recognize and accept that children are a unique and special GIFT from God!
PROTECTION of children entrusted in our care and safe-keeping is a priority at FWC.
What we believe is important for the parents / guardians to know:
Safety:
At FWC, we believe that the safety of our children (and congregation) is a top priority.
Therefore, we take it seriously when you entrust your kids in our care. The following items are just a few of the things we would like you know to ensure that you feel comfortable with leaving your kids. They will be in a safe and fun place to learn about Jesus.
Check-in:
All children must be checked in at the self-check or manned kiosk to receive a sticker with their name and their parent/ guardian’s phone number. The parents will receive a sticker with matching names to present in order to check their children out of their class.
Check-Out:
Children may be signed out by parents or authorized guardians. Volunteers may ask for a valid I.D. to verify the identity of the parent/ guardian if necessary.
FWC Kids Access:
The FWC Kids area is a restricted area. Therefore, only scheduled FWC ministry volunteers with a cleared background check and kids wearing a check-in sticker will be allowed in the FWC Kids area. Parents/ Guardians wishing to tour the FWC Kids area may do so with a FWC scheduled volunteer.
Allergies/ Medical Needs:
If your child has ANY allergy or medical needs, please let us know so that we can add it to their profile in order to better serve them while they are in our care. FWC has a trained medical team of volunteers available to assist us.
Emergencies:
In the event of an emergency with your child, you will be notified immediately via the phone number provided at check-in, or on the child’s profile inforamtion. In addition, many of our volunteer staff are trained in First Aid / CPR / AED and “Stop the Bleed.” In rare circumstances, when necessary, we will immediately call 911.
Evacuations:
In the event of an evacuation, your child will be taken to a pre-determined “safe place” for their safety. Once accounted for, the child may be signed out by their parent or authorized guardian.
PROTECTION of children entrusted in our care and safe-keeping is a priority at FWC.
